Jaclyn1423

I received 3 beautiful bracelets from Jaclyn1423 to review. I would like to start by saying that the communication with this shop was wonderful, very quick to reply and also very polite. Punctuality is not a problem with this shop, the item was sent in a timely manner and I received it in appropriate packaging in pristine condition. Upon opening the package I immediately put the bracelets on, they came with a purple ribbon wrapped around the 3 of them and I wasn't sure if they were meant to be worn with it. I have come to the conclusion that they were not because before the shopping trip that I was on was over the ribbon had fallen off. One of the things that I like about the bracelets is that they can be worn together as a set or separately. They all look good either way. I do have to say though that some of the beads were more comfortable against my skin than others. One bead in particular tended to rub my wrist the wrong way because of it's shape. I would also like to add that these are stretch bracelets, and I would have preferred that the knots had been glued to the inside of one of the beads so that the loose ends wouldn't stick out. Sadly my son got a hold of one of these lovely bracelets (he too admired them) and he ended up stretching one out so I would not recommend letting children get a hold of them. All in all I would purchase more of these bracelets and at only $9 for a set of 3 they are a very good deal.

jesskoehn

I have recently received and reviewed a print of the original cut-paper picture entitled "Slow Down" by jesskoehn. Communication with this shop owner was wonderful and she was very punctual. She was quick to respond to all of my messages, and also let me know when she sent the package. She sent the package very quickly as well, and packaging of the product was nice. I received the print in between two pieces of cardboard, in a sheet protector, and in a manilla envelope. The product was in pristine condition (no folds, bends, or even fingerprints). It's a very cute picture. I do have to say that the colors of the print that I received is not the same colors of the original cut-paper picture though. I think it would be helpful to have a picture of the prints and the original cut-paper picture in the shop so people know just exactly what they are buying. Also there is a border put around the original cut-paper picture on the print. All in all I think that the store is very cute as well as the products, however I would not purchase anything from the store until there are actual pictures of the products that will be received and not just pictures of the original cut-paper products. I have posted another picture of the actual print that I received so you can see the difference between what the print looks like and the original cut-paper picture that is displayed in the shop.To view jesskoehn please visit: jesskoehn.etsy.com

londontierney

I received some super cute chipboard epoxy buttons from londontierney. They are very colorful and well made. The packaging was appropriate and the shipping was quick. Londontierney is a great person to purchase from, she is prompt, polite, and very friendly. While I would not recommend using these as actual buttons they look wonderful on cards, ATC's, scrapbook pages, picture frames, and many other things as well. I love how she picks certain color schemes to send her buttons out in so that all of the buttons in a package compliment each other; it makes projects a lot easier. For larger projects I would recommend buying more than the 7 button package.

mshalston

I have recently read a novel called, "A Girl Named Charlie Lester" by Carissa Halston. I received the novel in a timely manner, in good condition, and in appropriate shipping materials. I have to warn that there is a lot of "colorful" language in this book so it probably isn't for the faint hearted. This is a very down to earth novel about a young woman who is trying to find herself and not feel like a disapointment. She goes through many different kinds of trials and meets many different kinds of people. As she goes through her ups and downs in life you can really relate to her feelings and emotions. I read through this book pretty quickly and it definately wasn't a book that I could just go without finishing. I did however find a few typos, but none that I can recall at the moment and thus none that really effected the story. In conclusion I would recommend this book to a certain audience that I feel would be able to handle the explicit content.

toeNja

This lovely picture was taken by toeNja. I received a 4x6 matted print of this wonderful picture to review. The colors are vibrant and the photo is crisp and very clear. The matting is perfect and brings out the colors of the photo even more. I do have to mention though that toeNja did forget that she wanted me to review one of her photos. We had discussed me reviewing her previously and I gave her my address and such and I waited for her package to arrive and it never came. I finally sent her a convo. asking her if she had send it because I thought that perhaps it had gotten lost in the mail and I came to find out that she had totally forgotten about it. I'm sure that would not be the case if it were a sale though. Once she remembered that she wanted to be reviewed she sent me a photo right away, and it got to me in perfect condition and in a timely manner.

junkstop

My most recent review was of two zines made by junkstop. I had never seen a zine before so these were a new experience for me. It was interesting to see how much each outfit cost from the ReStyle Thrift Store Fashion Zine. I liked the pictures of the outfits and then showing how much they cost and where you bought them but I didn't find the thrift store shopping tips very interesting. I also noticed that the pictures seemed to be somewhat blurry. I personally wouldn't spend $5 on the ReStyle Thrift Store Zine because you can buy a regular magazine for cheaper than that. I preferred the The Great Storm of 2008 Mini Zine. Not only is it cheaper but I like the way it is set up a lot better. In this zine the story comes first followed by the pictures. It seems like a higher quality zine to me and the pictures are very crisp and clear. I would pay $2 for the Great Storm of 2008 Mini Zine.

northwestgoods

I feel very fortunate to be able to review this beautiful barrette made by northwestgoods. It came in a secure package along with a card with the shop name and easy to follow instructions on how to use the barrette. I immediately followed the directions with success to find that it looked amazing in my hair. I have very thick hair and I was a little skeptical as to whether it would be able to hold my hair securely, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it not only held my hair but it stayed in place and was also very comfortable. I love how it has gold, silver, and copper in it because they all look very nice together and you can wear it with anything. You could easily wear this barrette for a formal occasion but you can also wear it as an everyday piece. The only problem that I seemed to have is my hair would get tangled in the spirals while I was trying to take it out. I also have to say that this shop is run by a nice couple who are both very friendly and very talented. I also would like to mention that I got many compliments on this barrette and I was happy to recommend northwestgoods to those who also loved the barrette.
